At the Geneva Haute Horlogerie Show on January 15, 2018, IWC launched three limited edition pilot watches in the brand’s 150th anniversary special edition series. Among them, there is a very special Dafei, which brings the annual calendar into the design of the watch, and it is also the first in the ‘Dafei’ series with a large calendar display window. Large Pilot’s Calendar 150th Anniversary Special Edition
The limited edition of the ‘150th Anniversary’ special edition of this large pilot’s annual calendar watch is limited to 100 pieces. It is the only watch with an annual calendar in the special edition series. The blue lacquered dial uses superb watchmaking technology, and the unique IWC displayed is also one of the reasons why it is memorable.

Stainless steel case, lacquered blue dial, rhodium-plated hands. In the design of the dial, the annual calendar displays the month, date, and week in three separate windows on the dial in an American style, and only needs to be adjusted once a year at the end of February.
The IWC 52850-certified movement is equipped with a Pellaton winding system with zero-wear ceramic parts, and has a 7-day power reserve function with a dual barrel. Through the sapphire glass case back, the exquisite structure of the movement is clearly visible.

Summary: Although it may be difficult for us ordinary people to start with a limited number of one hundred, we do not know what kind of ‘dramatic storm’ it will cause in the watch market after it is really market-oriented. (Watch House Photo / Text Moyan)
